We are excited to share with you the next phase of a building addition for Orange City Christian School. We were blessed during the 2019-20 school year to complete Phase 1 of Project Engage, which gave us two new classrooms, a new music room, and additional storage in the building.

As our enrollment continues to grow and we look to meet the current and future needs of the school, a task force was created to determine the steps for what the next phase of expansion may look like. On June 15th, our society met and passed the plan with an 84% vote in favor of moving forward with the plan.

Over the next few weeks we will be putting together more details on the fundraising part of this plan, so stay tuned to see how you can be an active part of continuing the mission of OCCS through this building expansion!

Additional Frequently Asked Questions can be found below along with detailed floor plans. If you have more questions, please don't hesitate to contact the school office.

Once funds are raised, the project is projected to take approximately 18 months to complete.

Due to fluctuating construction costs, we are estimating the total cost to be between $12.9 million and $15.2 million.

The board has decided that 75% of funds must be pledged or in hand in order to begin work on the project.

Typically, we would welcome absentee ballots from society members that cannot be physically present for the meeting and vote. However, in this case we would like you to see and hear all the details before deciding if this plan meets the current and future needs of our school. If you have questions about the project and will be unable to be present at the June 15 meeting, we encourage you to contact us anytime.
