Sarah Bonnema

Hello! I have been a Para at OCCS since 2024. I started in kindergarten and have been moving up a grade each year learning all over again! I have a bachelors degree in social work from Dordt and worked a few years for the Family Crisis Center. Then I stayed home to raise our four girls for 16 years.
I’m married to Dan who is a pig farmer and we live on a farm outside Orange City with our girls. We’re involved in several ministries at Immanuel CRC and enjoy gardening, camping, hiking and traveling as a family.
Jesus Christ is my Savior who has gifted me with everything I have, and am incredibly grateful. My goal is to glorify God in all that I do, and am thankful for the grace given to me when I don’t. I love to encourage the kids to give thanks to God for all things!
