Faith Statement: God has given me a tremendous responsibility to teach His covenant children. As a Christian school teacher, I find it a great privilege and honor to use the gifts God has equipped me with to carry out His purpose. I feel it is essential for me to help students see their purpose in God's Kingdom, to help them understand that God is a part of everything in our world, and to help them realize that God desires each student to have a personal faith in Jesus Christ so that He can use them for His service. To accomplish this, I need the students to see that I have a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior and seek God's daily guidance through prayer and His Word. I love how many things in the classroom naturally lead to God and how we can take these things and discuss their purpose in God's Kingdom plan. I pray that I will be Christ's light to my students and that they will, in turn, be Christ's light to others. I count it a blessing to teach God's covenant children. They are the reason I am in this profession! May He be praised and honored in my work.
