Professional Experience:  After college, I moved to Elk Horn, Iowa for 8 years.  I taught Preschool for 6 years and Special Education for 2 years.

Family: My family lives in Orange City and I am thrilled to be back living closer to them.  I love to spend time with my three adorable nephews who happen to live in town!

Faith Statement: My anchor holds within the veil from the song Cornerstone is an image that constantly portrays my faith.  God never fails to be my anchor through life’s storms as well as life’s rainbows.  God is always faithful and has truly blessed me.  I am reminded of that daily when I see the Preschoolers smiles and hear their precious giggles.

Favorite Verses: “ Do everything without complaining or arguing.” Philippians  2:14

I keep this Bible verse on a piece of paper and carry it with me in my wallet as a constant reminder to always look for the beauty in God’s plan and not complain or lean towards negativity.
