Professional Experience: New Holland Christian (1982-1984) teacher/administrator; Ireton Christian (1984-1992); Orange City Christian.

Family: My wife Judy and I have three children.  Our oldest son Mark is married to Catie and he is a pastor at Sunrise Community in Austin, Texas. They have two boys, Mason(10) and Cassidy(5).  Our second son Craig works at Vogel's and is married to Paula. They live here in Orange City.  Our daughter, Kerri, is married to Andrew Wagenaar and she teaches in the ESL department at Sioux Falls Washington High School. They have a daughter, Remi, who is 5 years old. My wife is currently employed as a librarian at Northwest Iowa Community College.

Faith Statement:  The challenge to which God has called me in my life is to be a facilitator in the education of His Covenant children.  I feel my calling allows me to have an impact on the lives of students through my teaching and modeling Christ-like character.  My goal is to allow my students to grow closer to Him each day and to help my students discover their gifts to be Kingdom builders in our world.
