Work background: I have been blessed to work in a variety of settings using my social work degree. These jobs include being a case manager for both children and adults with severe mental illness, a case manager for children in protective services and foster care, an advocate for victims of violent crime, and an intern school social worker in the elementary, middle school and high school levels. At OCCS, I am the 4th-8th grade school counselor.
Faith statement: In all the experiences that we have in life whether they are easy, hard or somewhere in-between, it is my desire to point others to God. His love never fails, His mercy is new every morning, He is with us so there is no need to fear, and He gave his Son so we could live with Him forever. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 It is an honor to serve the children, families and staff at OCCS!
