Professional Experience:
2026–present: 2nd grade teacher at Orange City Christian School
2025/26: Dordt University PDS student teaching program. I spent the first three quarters of the school year student teaching in 2nd grade at OCCS and the final quarter at Little Warriors Preschool. These experiences provided valuable opportunities for professional growth and helped prepare me for my own classroom!

Family: My husband Bo and I live between Maurice and Ireton. We enjoy spending time playing games and being outdoors together!

Faith Statement: I am honored to serve as a teacher at OCCS! I believe Christian education plays such a valuable and vital role in shaping how children understand God, themselves, and the world around them. I love that we can show students from a young age how God’s truth shapes our thinking, choices, and relationships. These children are gifts from Him, and we are entrusted with the calling of guiding them to grow in their God-given abilities! My hope is to create a classroom where every child feels loved and valued while learning that our purpose on this earth is to honor and glorify God and to live as disciples of Christ.
