Leah Van Walbeek

Years at OCCS: I have been working as a paraprofessional since Fall of 2025.

Education Background: I have a bachelor's degree from Dordt College and a master's degree from Liberty University online. 

Professional Experience: My background professional experience has been working with adults with disabilities at various organizations in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.

Faith Statement: Our family is a Bible believing family. I was raised in a Christian home, went to a Christian school and Christian Reformed Church. We believe that Jesus is Christ and was born, died on the cross, and was raised again from the dead for our sins. A favorite verse of mine is Matthew 6:34. "Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." I also find comfort from Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Church Membership: We are active members at Dover Church.
