Faculty/Staff Openings for 2012-2013 

1.  Director of Resource Department:  Part time position to serve as coordinator of Resource Services.   The person will work with students who receive various types of support (academic, social, emotional) and the parents and teachers of these students to facilitate success at OCCS.  OCCS works with the Christian Learning Center (CLC), which provides special needs consulting services described as Inclusive Education.  The Director of the Resource Department serves as a liaison between the CLC and Orange City Christian School.  A background and experience in Special Needs Education is preferred but not necessary.  The position could possibly include teaching duties in the Middle School.  Minimum requirement is the candidate has a BA or more in elementary education. 

2.  Kindergarten classroom assistants.  Because of anticipated enrollment in the Kindergarten for 2012-2013, OCCS is accepting applications for Kindergarten classroom assistants.  A teaching degree is not required but preferred.

3.  Secretary/TRIP Coordinator position opening at OCCS.  Audrey Schuller has taken a position at Dordt College and will be assuming those duties mid-May of this year.  This means that there is an opening and it is, in some ways, "immediate".  Applicants should complete an application, which are in the school office. Applicants should also provide a resume and a "Letter of Interest", indicating reasons for applying and specific skills you possess that would serve the position well.  Those three documents (application, resume, and Letter of Interest) are being asked for from all applicants.  The deadline for returning the application items will be 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 2.  If you have more questions about the TRIP Coordinator position, you can contact Audrey Schuller.
