Team #1 went to the Heritage House and gave a short program.  The residents loved it -- even demanded an encore!  Then we played BINGO and enjoyed popcorn and candy.

PE Unit #8:  In conjunction with the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, the OCCS Middle School will be hosting its own Olympic Games!  Events include: biatholon, hockey skills, cross country skiing relay, bobsledding, snow-sculpting, mountain climb relay, and luge.  The Games will conclude with a hockey tournament.

PE Unit #8

 Each section of PE crowned an overall Olympic Champion -- the team that had accumulated the most points during the unit.  Champions were awarded BEAUTIFUL Olympic necklaces!

Games/activities played as warm-ups or in between units.  We also enjoy games like Indoor Boccer, Ultimate Frisbee Hoops, Capture the Chicken, and 4 Goal Soccer.

 Every year, the middle school escapes from their books and classrooms and heads to Vet's Park for the afternoon.  We spend the time getting to know our intramural groups through lunch and games.  How fun it is to work together and build each other up!
