Enrichment Program Coordinator, Technology Coordinator, 8th Computer

Years At OCCS:  1986 - to present

Education Background:  BA in Elementary Education from Dordt College; Gifted Endorsement from Morningside College

Professional Experience: From 1975-1979 I taught second and third grades in the Denver Christian Schools. In the fall of 1986 I began teaching at OCCS in the fifth grade classroom.  Currently I am the 8th grade computer instructor, Enrichment Program Coordinator and Technology Coordinator.

Family: My husband Larry and I have three married children and one grandchild, none of whom live around us unfortunately.   We enjoy traveling to visit them in Aurora, CO and Des Moines, IA.  Grandparenting is blessed chapter to life!

Faith Statement: I am blessed to be teaching at Orange City Christian School. To be able to share how God and His Word fit into all areas of learning is a privilege.  I believe God has created all things and is in control of all things. I have been created in His image and as His child have been placed on this earth to serve Him with the gifts that He has given me.  It is my prayer that He will bless my efforts for my students benefit and for His glory.
