Education Background:  BA Calvin College  Early Childhood Endorsement Northwestern College

Professional Experience:  I taught a 5th/6th split class in Hospers Christian School , 4th or 5th grades in Rock Valley Christian School, and 4th or 1st grades at Orange City Christian School.  This year I begin my 11th year as a preschool teacher at Covenant Kids Preschool

Family:  I am married to Ed Starkenburg  who is an education professor at Dordt College

Faith Statement:  As God's redeemed child it is my desire to live a  life of gratitude to Him for the grace He has shown me. In gratitude I will share my love for God and others by helping my preschoolers  learn more about God, His world, and their place in His world.
