Years at OCCS: 2003 - to present

 Education Background: BA in Elementary Education and minor in Music from Dordt College

Professional Experience: I have taught General Music, Band, and Choir to grades 5-8 at Orange City Christian since 2003.

Family: My husband Aaron and I have three little girls. Katelyn is in first grade here at OCCS! Mackenzie is in preschool, and Addison is two years old. We are also expecting another child to arrive in February. We are very excited!!

Faith Statement: Music is created by God and is a great tool for us to use to worship and serve our Creator. Since everyone is created differently, I try to use a variety of activities, performances, literature and media to help each student be able to express his/her gift in music. I really enjoy getting to know the students each year and helping them develop and use the musical gifts God has given them!
