Family: My husband Dan is the owner of Brunst Construction. We have three children: Tyler is in 8th grade, Lauren is in 5th grade, and Ryan is in 1st grade.
Faith Statement: The Lord has a plan for my life. I have seen him work out his plan in guiding me to become a middle school teacher and now by bringing me to teach at OCCS. I have often experienced that the Lord's plans are much different from my own, but they are always for my good. My desire is to help my students come to know the Lord, to recognize his hand in everything they are learning, and to seek out God's plan for their own lives, even when those plans may require them to face challenges and difficulty, knowing that God's plans are always perfect.
My favorite scripture is from Habakkuk 3:17-19: "Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights."
